My sketchbook has just come to its end last week.
Just like lots of things in your life, I started a new one. This is my fifth pad since my sketch journal started in 2006. This time it's smaller than the last one, but comes with two different tones; white and cream.
I like the texture and weight of the paper so far.
When I finished the old sketch pad, I looked through all the four sketchbooks I completed in the last 4 years. I feel like I've changed and not have changed at the same time.
Is my art going anywhere?
Has my drawing skill got any better?
I don't know, and I guess I don't really need to know. But I've found a drawing with a similar concept as the drawing above, done on Jul 13, 06.

上のカラーの絵が最近ので下のスケッチが昔のでしょ？
上の絵は、第一印象はぱっと一目見て今までのとなんか違うと思ったよ。
俺は絵詳しくないからあくまで直感でだけど。
でもこの絵、正直一番好きかも。
そう、上が最近で、下が２００６年のです。
スケッチブックが変わったのもあるけど、フォトショップで色のつけ方をいろいろ実験してるんだよね。
とにかく、詳しくても詳しくなくても、絵は直感が大事だと思っているので、なにはともあれ、気に入ってもらえるとありがたいです。
